Beaches on Telendos Print

There are three main beaches on the island. The first beach one comes upon on the north-eastern part of the island and which runs along the the coastal area which has been developed, is called Potha. Here you will find your typical peachful sandy beaches with plenty of shade for the most part due to trees. There are also plenty of umbrellas and sunbeds for rent as well if that is your pleasure.

If you follow the path all the way to the end, you will come to the naturist/nudist beach named Paradise. The naturist beach is situated on the eastcoast of the island past the taverna's and past the beach of Potha. After the first textile beach there is another beach (sometimes naturist) but after that there is an official naturist beach. This beach is a pebble beach and there are umbrellas and sunbeds for rent on this beach and there is a taverna. The sea has quite a lot of rock in it and beach shoes are recommended. Next to this beach there are two smaller beaches that are also used by naturists.

Also in the south of the island, after a climb over the hill following the path, there is a secluded pebbled beach called Hohlaka. Not ideal for little children due to the often wavey waters but just fine for those that like to play in the waves.

Look around the island and you will find even more.
